Physical agent modalities covered: heat/cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation)
Objectives:
- Identify the different types of physical agent modalities used by occupational & physical therapists on clients with varying diagnoses
- Recognize the indications and contraindications for the use of physical agent modalities
- Describe and understand the evidence based use of physical agent modalities on various diagnoses to enhance participation in daily tasks
