Time: 5:00-6:50 pm
Description: Demonstration of lymphedema wrapping & massage, practice with physical agent modalities (ultrasound, e-stim, paraffin). Gross anatomy/cadaver UE review.
Objectives:
- Describe the proper procedure for lymphedema wrapping and massage
- Demonstrate safe use of ultrasound, e-stim, and paraffin for therapeutic benefit
- Review UE anatomy to facilitate understanding of typical UE diagnoses and rehabilitation of those diagnoses
The courses are approved by the New York State Board for Occupational Therapy for up to 2 Continued Competency Hours (CCH) (.2CEU)
By completing all 8 sessions you will earn 1 credit towards a College Class.
